Founded in 1933 as a junior college with fewer than 100 students, Mountain State University now has over 5 campuses with over 8,100 students in its WV campus alone (making it the largest private school in the state). Class Format:
Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership (BSOL): One-night-a-week class schedule consisting of four-16 week semesters, providing 48 credit hours in about 18 months for Online or the On-Campus program
Master of Science in Strategic Leadership (MSSL): One-night-a-week class schedule, broken down in to three 20-week semesters, providing 36 credit hours in about 18 months within the Online or On-Campus program
Spectrum: One-night-a-week class schedule consisting of three to four- 16 week semesters (4 courses in each semester), which can be complete in 18 months within the On-Campus program
RN-BSN:  One-day-a-month for 13 months providing 42 credit hours

Length of Programs: BSOL - 48 credit hours; MSSL - 36 credit hours; Spectrum - 36 or 48 credit hours; RN-BSN - 42 credit hours; MSN - 35 credit hours

Programs are generally 18 months long, except for RN-BSN (13 months) and MSN (4 semesters full time or 7 semesters part time)

Application Requirements:
General admission requirements: 1) Completed application, 2) $25 application fee, & 3) Official transcripts. 
Organizational Leadership program: 1) Requires a minimum of 40 semester hours of transferable college credit, 2) Minimum 2.0 GPA, & 3) Have 2 years work experience
Strategic Leadership: 1) Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited college/university
RN-BSN: 1) Unrestricted RN license (from any state), & 2) Minimum 2.5 GPA
MSN: 1) Bachelor’s degree in nursing (B.S.N.) from a nationally accredited program, 2) Unrestricted (RN) license (from any state), 3) 12 clock hours of community service over past year, & 4) Eligibility for coverage by university’s malpractice insurance carrier

Financial Aid:  Federal Pell Grant, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), Stafford (subsidized & unsubsidized) loans, PLUS loans, educational loans & scholarships, and a site scholarship for military & VS/GI Bill Benefits

Leave I-4 using exit # 92 and get onto SR 436 westbound for 1 block. Turn left (south) onto Wymore Road and enter the third driveway into the Executive Point Towers complex (approx. 100 yards).
